The main difference is the body design. The iT22 measures 40 × 64 × 28 mm and weighs approximately 52 g, so it sits differently on the camera than the more square-shaped iT20.
In practice, the iT20 and iT22 are best viewed as two versions of the same concept: an ultra-compact TTL flash that you can take virtually anywhere.

Godox iT30Pro – more capabilities in a still-compact form
If you expect more advanced features and greater potential for expanding your lighting setup from a small flash, the Godox iT30Pro is worth a closer look.
The flash weighs approximately 120 g and has a guide number of GN15 at ISO 100. It remains a compact unit while offering significantly more control than the iT20 and iT22.
Godox iT30Pro supports TTL, Manual, Multi and HSS up to 1/8000 s. First- and second-curtain synchronization and flash exposure compensation are also available.
HSS makes it easier to combine flash with ambient light, for example when shooting outdoors at fast shutter speeds. Keep in mind, however, that effective flash output decreases when using HSS, so with such a compact flash the distance to the subject becomes particularly important.
A major convenience in everyday use is the colour touchscreen. Settings can be changed either directly on the display or with the traditional control dial. The iT30Pro also features a built-in diffuser that can be quickly pulled out in front of the flash head.
An important difference compared with the iT20 and iT22 is the built-in Godox X 2.4 GHz wireless system. The iT30Pro supports both Sender and Receiver operation, allowing it to work either as a controlling flash or as part of a wireless lighting setup.

Godox iT32 and X5 – a modular system for on-camera and off-camera work
Godox iT32 takes the concept of a compact flash in a different direction. A key part of the system is its compatibility with interchangeable X5 modules, which combine the function of a flash mounting foot and a radio transmitter.
With the iT32 mounted on the X5, the set can be used directly on the camera with TTL and HSS support. Different X5 versions allow the same iT32 flash body to be adapted to different camera systems.
The combined iT32 + X5 set can also operate as a transmitter in the Godox X 2.4 GHz system. In this configuration, the iT32 interface allows you to independently adjust the operating mode, power or FEC of receiver flash groups.
One of the most interesting features, however, is the ability to separate the two components. Once the flash is removed from the X5, the module can remain on the camera, while the iT32 automatically switches to operation as a wirelessly triggered flash.
In this configuration, the X5 allows remote adjustment of the iT32 settings. You can switch the flash between TTL and M, adjust power in Manual mode and change FEC in TTL.
At the same time, the X5 can synchronously trigger other compatible Godox flashes operating on the appropriate channel and ID. There is, however, an important limitation: when the X5 and iT32 are separated, the transmitter cannot remotely change the power or operating mode of those additional flashes. Their settings must be adjusted directly on the flashes themselves.
This is an important distinction compared with larger standalone Godox X transmitters. When detached, the X5 is primarily a very compact solution for controlling the iT32 while simultaneously triggering additional compatible flashes.
Godox iT32 offers a guide number of GN18 at ISO 100. It supports TTL, Manual, Multi and HSS up to 1/8000 s, as well as first- and second-curtain synchronization.
The built-in 7.4 V / 900 mAh battery provides approximately 510 full-power flashes, with a recycling time of around 1.5 seconds at 1/1 power.

Which Godox iT flash should you choose?
If minimum size and weight are your priorities, start with the Godox iT20 or iT22. Both flashes offer TTL and manual flash control while adding very little weight to a compact camera setup. The choice between them mainly comes down to the preferred body design.
If, in addition to compact dimensions, you need HSS, a touchscreen and the Godox X 2.4 GHz wireless system, the Godox iT30Pro will be the more suitable choice. It is a small flash that already offers considerably more flexibility when working with one or several light sources.
Godox iT32 + X5 stands out primarily because of its modular design. On the camera it forms a TTL/HSS flash set, while after separation the X5 can remain on the camera and remotely control the iT32 settings.
